Cash for Gold

Cash for Gold

There has been a rise in Cash for Gold advertising, especially on television networks.  The whole cash for gold concept started in the United States to try and help aliviate the pressures during the credit crunch. You basically go to their website and register, they send you a bag. You fill the bag and send it off. They then send you a cheque.  The gold is then melted down in a refinery into gold bullion.

But your probably wondering is it worth doing.  Well its been reported that people are recieving between 40-50% its worth.  So although you may not get its full value or in some cases significantly less than you paid for it, it may be the needed cash injection needed during the current economic climate.  If you dont really need the cash but are looking for a little extra cash then maybe exploring other avenues first may be the answer.

One concern that many have is the suddern gold rush is going to cause a rise in burgleries.

I did 2 days of research before using www.aaagoldexchange.com. They post a comparison chart on their site to their major competitors. I tried them and was VERY happy with the experience. I actually ended up with more than I expected ($721). I definitely recommend them.

I would strongly suggest checking out the Silver and Gold Exchange before selling gold or silver to ANYONE. I did a great deal of research, online and offline, and learned a lot about this business. I checked pawn shops, jewelers, "gold parties", hotel "buying events as well as the online buyers, including the "as seen on tv" guys. I found that the Silver and Gold Exchange paid more than anyone else I could find. I liked the fact that they post the prices they pay per gram (beware of the places that quote in pennyweight/DWT) on a live price chart at http://www.SilverAndGoldExchange.com I also checked out their Better Business Bureau report and found they have never had a single complaint as opposed to HUNDREDS of complaints some other companies have! I recommend them 100%
